We couldn’t have imagined a more meaningful way to wrap up February than by welcoming Interlake High School to Green Camp. From the moment they arrived to their heartfelt goodbyes, their time with us was filled with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.
After a long journey from Washington, USA, the group arrived brimming with excitement and curiosity, eager to embrace the week ahead. They immersed themselves in Balinese culture, engaged deeply with nature through SDG-themed learning, and stepped out of their comfort zones to grow in ways they never expected. Their enthusiasm, coupled with their genuine appreciation for every moment—whether connecting with each other or with the environment—was nothing short of inspiring.
The week concluded with a moving closing ceremony, a celebration of the bonds formed, and the lessons learned. We are left with high hopes that the seeds of growth and awareness planted during their time here will flourish beautifully in the years to come.
