Bali’s first Green Camp!

To us, Green signifies the removal of boundaries. When we stop thinking of nature as something separate from us, we start to change our behavior, and naturally begin to act “sustainably.”
Green is about developing a healthy (positive) understanding of our selves, each other, and the world around.
Green Camp provides an opportunity for people of all ages to have a positive experience outdoors. We lead fun and engaging activities, that build enduring bonds with the natural world. We integrate Balinese culture into the program to create an experience that is holistic in its approach.
We are committed to building the connection between individuals and the world around us. This connection comes from increased self-awareness, relationship building– both with others, and the Earth–, and emotional understanding through experiential learning.
Our mission aims to re-define how we educate, provide individuals with a heightened sense of self, and create an emotional connection to the Earth. We put the health and awareness of the individual at the heart of our program, and take the stance that the Earth doesn’t change unless we change, and that we don’t change unless I change.
We have three main programs that help satisfy this mission: School Programs, Family Weekends, and Weekday Camp for Kids. All programs are overnight (exceptions exist), as the impact of the experience deepens with the level of immersion.

We look forward to sharing a Green Camp experience with you!
“Recently, after a discussion on pollution and waste during a jungle walk, a 7-year old camper from France suddenly picked up a piece of plastic rubbish from the ground and said that if he picked up one a day for a whole year that would be 365 pieces of rubbish taken off the ground to prevent danger to animals and making its way into the waterways. Other kids in the group soon had handfuls of rubbish to put into our recycling bins.” Yanti – GC instructor
