Family Camp

Family Camp is an opportunity for parents and children to share, with other families, in the Green Camp experience!  Based on the site of the world famous Green School in the heart of the Balinese rainforest, parents and children will enjoy a range of activities that may include organic chocolate making, Balinese Wayang Kulit (traditional puppetry), Canang  (Balinese offerings), kite making, garden harvesting, outdoor brick-oven pizza making, trekking on the Subak, gamelan music, the Balinese Amazing Race, on-site night safari, and campfire games. There is even morning yoga offered for the adults only!

These are just some of the activities to help strengthen the bond with the natural world and provide families with an unforgettable experience. Each family will stay in our yurt accommodations, and all snacks and meals are included, beginning with dinner on Friday, through to breakfast and a mid-morning snack on Sunday. Programs require a minimum enrolment of 2 families and/or 6 people to be confirmed.

PRICING

USD$ 125/ adult (package 2 Night 2 Days);

USD$ 75/ child (aged 4-15)

Children 3 and under are free of charge.

Package price includes:

•       All meals and snacks prepared and cooked by the Green School kitchen staff. Vegetarian options are provided.
•       Accommodation in Green Camp’s Yurt Village
•       Instruction and 24hr supervision by the Green Camp Staff (site security is also provided at all times)
•       Medical staff on-site and/or on-call at all times.
•       The program price is all-inclusive and no additional service charges or gratuities are required.

Program Days and Times:

•       Arrival on Friday afternoon between 4:30-5:00pm
•       Departure on Sunday morning at 11:00am.

All families will stay in our yurt village. Each yurt can sleep up to 4 people although families of 4 or more may choose to sleep in 2 yurts. Yurts are traditional bamboo structures with Balinese thatched roofs allowing for a “camping” feel, while providing comfort. They are fully enclosed, lockable, and come with bedding. *Note: Transportation to and from Green Camp is not provided although this can be arranged for an additional cost.
