Green Riders Coming to Bali!

by wirya - 14th May 2012

Green Camp would like to recognize the efforts of 2 adventurous and committed individuals in their efforts to undertake an amazing journey next month. For 6 weeks, Kenny and Jamie will journey by bike and other sustainable means from Phuket, Thailand to Bali, Indonesia. Along the way, they’ll be exploring Southeast Asia’s wealth of biodiversity, and meeting with groups and individuals involved in its protection and destruction. With a focus on making connections with communities to learn more about their conservation efforts and promoting environmental education and action, this adventure has much to recommend.

We’re excited about the Green Riders stop-over in Bali and hope to host them here for a night or 2 along the way. There’s also talk of getting some folks out from our community to join them in their epic ride and to learn more about the experience. If you’d like to learn more about this project and support the riders in their cause, please follow the links below:

Follow the Green Riders online at http://greenriders.asia/ or through their Twitter, Flickr and Facebook feeds. Most of all, watch our ongoing video serials on this blog and our YouTube channel!
